SLOAN VALVE COMPANY’S AD FOR ELECTRONIC DUAL-FLUSH FLUSHOMETER WINS 2008 EXCELLENCE IN ADVERTISING AWARD
FRANKLIN PARK, IL — Sloan Valve Company has received a 2008 Excellence in Advertising “Best in Class” Award from Architectural Record magazine for its full-page advertisement introducing the Sloan ECOS™ electronic dual-flush Flushometer.
“Industry professionals have highly praised the Sloan ECOS electronic dual-flush Flushometer for its water efficiency, innovative design and touch-free convenience,” says Susan Kennedy, director of marketing for Sloan Valve Company. “Winning an award for the Flushometer’s advertisement further underscores the important message that is resonating with architects: The Sloan ECOS truly stands out from the competition and has no equal in the commercial marketplace.”
The Sloan ECOS is the world’s first true electronic dual-flush Flushometer. Advanced sensor technology allows for hands-free operation while delivering water-saving dual-flush performance. Intuitive dual-flush buttons enable users to choose either a 1.1- or 1.6-gpf flush. If the user walks away without pressing a button, the Flushometer chooses the appropriate flush volume based on how long the user remains in sensor range: Stay in range less than 65 seconds, and the Flushometer initiates a reduced flush; stay longer, and the Flushometer activates a full flush.
Whether the Flushometer activates manually or automatically, the new Sloan ECOS offers unequaled efficiency and reliable performance.
Each year, Architectural Record, a McGraw-Hill publication, assembles a jury of esteemed architects to judge and select advertisements they consider to be excellent. The prime considerations are design and messaging. Representatives from the magazine presented Sloan Valve Company with the 2008 Excellence in Advertising “Best in Class” Award at the AIA National Convention and Expo in Boston.
